House for Rent
Member Pat Corcoran has a house for rent for the months of November and December of 2018. It’s an 1100 square feet 2-bedroom, 2-bath, fully furnished home located at 4664 East Alfalfa with the added benefit of being next door to our newly elected President, John Mattson and the lovely Cheryl Wensmann. It’s a short walk or bike ride to the courts or clubhouse. The rent for November is only $1400 and December is only $1600. So if any of you have friends or family looking to escape the cold for a few months, please consider this home as a wonderful desert escape. You can contact Pat Corcoran for any questions about the house @ (810) 577-1221 or contact the landlord, David Hirsch directly to secure a lease @ (928) 853-6783.

The event is called PickleFest, and we’re bringing 4 of the best pickleball players in the world (U.S. Open Gold Medalists, Kyle Yates, Ben Johns, Irina Tereschenko, and Brian Ashworth) to Charlottesville to coach a hands-on training camp for participants. Other highlights to the weekend include an exciting evening exhibition match between the pros (with cocktail party following) and a lively outdoor tournament-festival on the last day of the event.
We've partnered with businesses across the city to offer exclusive discounts and deals for our participants while they are here in Charlottesville, such as an all-inclusive Welcome Dinner for participants and pros at Charlottesville's contemporary new social club, breakfast and lunch included every day, and a "festival" environment of free cider tastings, food tents, music, and product demos at the Sunday tournament.
It will be a wonderful weekend to see all that Charlottesville has to offer, and experience once-in-a-lifetime coaching from the best pickleball players in the world.
PickleFest will be held May 31 - June 3. You can read more about the event on the registration page:
If you are able to share this information with the pickleball community in Gilbert, we would love to welcome them to Charlottesville for this exciting 3-day event!
Pickleball Club Board of Director's Meeting
NO Meetings Scheduled for the Summer
November 8th Annual Meeting/Dinner.
To our Members; we hope all are well wherever you are in the great US of A or anywhere else on this beautiful blue marble.
Leslie, our Pickleball Social chair, has asked that everyone be contacted concerning the November 8th Annual Meeting/Dinner.
We know it seems like a long way away, but you know how time flies! Anyway, our brain storming has thrown around a bar-b-q style dinner with a “Minute it to Win it” type play afterwards. Here is the caveat: WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
There are several areas/committees that you may sign up for: meal planning, decorations, advertisements, set up, clean up, or game play (you can find games on the www). Some of you won’t be back to Trilogy by then so you are off the hook ☺️, but you will miss a great party!
However, even those who will be back shortly before the dinner can work together via email or texts. Isn’t this technology convenient? So contact your BFFs and get the pickleball rolling.
We have the best club in Trilogy with the most amazing and talented members who keep it that way.
Please contact Leslie when you decide what committee you would like to participate, (480) 980-5928 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you in advance for sharing your time and talents!
